CAPE CORAL, Fla. -

Two Cape Coral boys were arrested Thursday after attacking and robbing two people at Koza/Saladino Park.

On Aug. 2, 15-year-old Patrick Morrison and 16-year-old Maurice Garland came up to two people in the park and Morrison pretended to extend a hand for a handshake.

Morrison instead punched one of the victims in the face and stole his backpack and cellphone before throwing the phone to the ground, causing damage.

Garland came up to the second victim and snatched his chain before punching him and stealing some money from his pocket.

Morrison and Garland are both charged with robbery and battery.
