Florence now a tropical storm, but will regain strength this weekend

Wind shear has taken its toll on Florence and is now a Tropical Storm. However, those along the east coast should not let their guard down. While Florence moves west, it will move into an area of warmer waters and lower wind shear. Florence will return to hurricane status over the weekend and possibly major hurricane status by early next week.

An updated GFS model pulls Florence more to the east and north and perhaps just missing the US coast line, the the EURO model still keeps North Carolina and the Mid Atlantic in its path. Bermuda and all of US East Coat need to be watchful of this storm over the coming days.

Invest 92L remains unnamed while it doesn't have much organization to it. This storm could take a more southerly path than Florence and has the potential to impact the Caribbean in the coming week. There is still a lot to be determined with the path and strength of this storm.
