FORT MYERS, Fla. -

A Fort Myers man was arrested after being accused of secretly recording a co-worker using the bathroom.

Lee County deputies were tipped off when an Arthrex employee working at the company’s Fort Myers location found the hidden camera inside one of the coed bathrooms.

They arrested 26-year-old Jerrod Green after further investigating the claim and reviewing the footage.

According to Green’s arrest report, deputies saw the accused video voyeur set up the camera under the bathroom sink in one of the recordings.

In a sequence of five recordings, one employee was filmed using the bathroom.

Green bonded out of jail and tried reaching him for comment at his home. His grandmother opened the door stating she had no comment.

A spokesperson for Arthrex released a statement that said in part:

“Arthrex does not tolerate conduct that could compromise the safety and security of our employees. Jerrod Green was employed with Arthrex at the time of the alleged incident; however, he is no longer an Arthrex employee.”

Green was also arrested in 2017 for marijuana possession.
