Man thrown from his bike while riding it in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -

Police are looking for a man who allegedly grabbed another man and threw him from his bike before stealing the bike and riding away.

Around 2 p.m. on September 19, police said a man was riding his bike in the 400 block of Old Burnt Store Road North when another man walking by him grabbed the man from behind and threw him off his bike. The thief then stole the bike and rode away southbound on Burnt Store Road North.

Detectives said video surveillance from nearby homes showed the suspect walking in the area shortly before the crime happened.

The victim described the thief as a Hispanic male, potentially mid-30s with short black hair, around 5 foot 10 inches tall, and around 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue tank top, dark basketball shorts, and black shoes.
