An Estero High School football player was airlifted to a Tampa hospital after getting injured in Friday night's game, according to the Naples Daily News.

Aiden Thompson was hurt after trying to make a tackle in the third quarter against Lemon Bay.

On Saturday Estero's coach said Thompson is fine and that all his tests came back negative.

The game was delayed about 30 minutes while first responders treated Thompson and got him onto the helicopter.
